Photo SubmissionThis is a featured page

The curioshop.wetpaint community would like to ask for everyone's help in collecting higher resolution images.

We are creating pages like the Egyptian Theme, or the Trading Card Series 1 Theme for the various themes in WW.

Please submit images (on the appropriate page or on the bottom of this page) for any collection or item you find is not present in any image gallery.

If you put an image like this here.

We will take it and make this...

Then we will make a final image with the entire collection.

Background for Capture

For our galleries, we remove the background from the images you submit so it is white. Depending on the background behind the image you submit, it can be very time consuming to remove the background. If possible, try to capture the image on a floor or wall that is as close to white as possible and solid. This helps two things. One, the edges are already blended to a light color that is close to white. Two, if the item has transparent features, you will not see a pattern behind the item (such as a wooden floor behind a glass table top). Here is the room I use to take photos.

Photo Studio

The walls use Light Steel Blue Wall Paint, and the floors use First Snow Flooring. These are as close to white as I can find. If you want to submit images, grey or another solid color is just fine, but if you enjoy making the captures and want to submit a lot of images, using these colors is very helpful. Using the light and solid colors makes creating the final galleries easier. Now if you can't do this, it isn't a problem. We would rather have the image submitted on any background than nothing at all.

Position of Item for Capture

First, zoom in for the capture to make the image larger.

Submit Images - curioshop

Try to situate the image so that the front is facing the lower left. Make the capture.

Then give the image two rotation clicks so the back side is facing the lower left. Make a second capture.
zoom_back_capture

If enough people submit back sides, we can try to include them in the galleries.

If you do a wall capture, please use the right wall, so the item faces the lower left.

You can use the Print Screen button on your keyboard to take your photo. Then Paste the image into a program like PAINT. There you can crop your image and save it to your computer as a .PNG file.

Finally, return to the Curioshop.wetpaint page that needs your image and Edit the page to add your photo (use the Photo icon in the edit bar and follow the instructions).

Hello all. I was wondering if any one had a good program for taking screen shots of webkinz. For some reason I can not just print to file and such. Maybe it is the lack of a printer ^_^ If anyone knows of any program or software that is compatible with windows xp send me a message please.
